Is there anyone else who likes these games? I'm an avid fan of them. I can't get enough of them. The second game's ending was cut short, though. I won't spoil anything, but there really...isn't anything to spoil, to be honest.
I can't want for Knights of the Old Republic III. I also am looking for to the Knights of the Old Republic MMORPG that's in pre-production right now. It really annoys me that they haven't even started KOTOR III, though. They've only given minor hints at it. ><
Ah KOTOR, how I love thee, let me count the Bothans, or what not, yeah I enjoyed that game immensely, I preferred the first one more then the second (*cough*Juhani*cough*), but they both made me enjoy myself for hours on end. :) Oh the reloads for failed pod races, heh. Oh and if you're interested, there's actually a reconstruction project going on for KOTOR 2, it's at http://www.team-gizka.org/ still in beta, and not fully available, but it's getting closer now.

I also want to play Mass Effect. And KOtoR owns KOtoR 2 in terms of story. I liked the classic robes in the second one, though, too. I also liked BioWare's idea of having different robes for a different era, though.
The difference between Mass Effect and KOtoR is that Mass Effect is a lot more advanced. It's not a simple matter of good or evil, it all depends on the choices. Each choice has a later consequence, whether it's good or bad.
I only played the 2, but it was a great game. I have to get the 1. Still, i found it rather easy. Even with the difficulty in hardcore, i didn't have to use to much equipement and i didn't die often. I had a berserker-like character, all in lightsaber and strengh, nothing in inteligence XD and i beat the game too quickly. But it was fun either way.
The second game is a bit mediocre. Not saying the first one is much harder, though. The first one wins in story and just in gameplay alone. There were so many bugs in the second game--especially for light-siders like me.
One thing that angered me was the mediocre dialogue with some teamates. Like with Aton : can you explain me how to play ? let's play! and that's all ... I really loved the dialogue with Atris though. I laughed real hard while she was flaming me XD But i really have to get the KOTOR 1. Everyone says it rocks.
