I happen to be a pretty moderate fan of Star Wars. Not big enough to go to cons and go insane while in cosplay, though. I've never really have been a cosplay fan to begin with. It...frightens me...
I've been really getting into Star Wars. I own the original triology (Episode IV-VI). I do want to own the new triology, too, but I'm really strapped for money. If it isn't the movies, it's some of the games: Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy, Knights of the Old Republic, and Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords. I love those games!
Now, George Lucas has officially announced two new Star Wars movies. Yeah, not three, but two. And yes, full-lengthed live action theater releases. What does everyone think about it? Part of me is excited and another part of me is like, "More sequels...?"
You should watch them all! At least the older ones.
I don't think they should remake the original trilogy. Don't even go putting those thoughts into George Lucas's head. Because if you did, he'd probably do it, too!
Think about it though. Who is Luke Skywalker? Mark Hamil! Can you imagine anyone else being Luke Skywalker?

I've heard that the new movies will have Mark Hamil in them as Luke Skywalker, but he's a Jedi Master now. I'm not sure how long in the future they take place from Episode VI, though. It's just a rumor, so take it with a grain of salt.
well, we also have tha old movies here at home. I liked to watch them when i was smaller, i don't really have the time now. We also have two of the new movies :3 the third hasn't come out on vhs or dvd here in sweden yet =w='' And personally i wouldn't mind 2 more movies :3
I love Star Wars. It was funny, right after me and my brother saw episode three he said that Lucas was going to make more, which is lame. No sequel is going to be as good as the original trilogy, and the super-duper special edision we're clearly only doing this for more money rerealeses annoy me. Han shot first, not Greedo, but I can feel myself getting devoured by nerdy rage so I'm going to stop.

I loved the first trilogy. It was something big, considering the state of the special effect at the time they made the movies. And the story was good too. But, and i don't want to insult anyone here, i think G.Lucas ruined everything with his second trilogy. The first episode was good enough, but the two other ... the only feeling i had was they were in a rush. I felt like they had to do those movies quickly and i really hate how it turned out. I'm not saying those are bad movies, just that i didn't like them. I hope the next ones will be good but i think they should stop now. I don't want to see more of them.
