when i first started getting into anime, i saw this vhs anime that was by far the worst ive ever seen. it was about some space station that was being attached and everyone started to die and vanish and in the end, it turned out that one of the peoples pet cat was really some alien or taken over by an alien or SOMETHING like that. bad dubbing, bad animation, bad storyline.
I know I'm going to get shot or something by the rabid fangirls... but...
I despise Naruto. And DBZ. And just about every uber popular Shonen series.
I hear people whine and complain about the dub af Naruto and the fillers... seriously, if you're whining about it, stop. watching it. Duh. And DBZ. Gosh. So stupid. End of story.
Also, when you get older, stuff like Pokémon and Digimon and a few others get a bit repetative (Okay, I've been watching Pokémon since it's start practically), but it's addicting.
Also, steer way clear of anything 4Kids has touched (Besides Pokémon, they did an OK job for it at the time), because they infect it with horrid 4Kids-related viruses that burn the veiwers eyes. (See one episode of "Mew Mew Power" and you'll know why)

*Shudders* 4Kids...I had nightmares after watching one of their dubs..
But yeah 4Kids tends to make half-decent Anime absolute crap with their dubbing and song changes among other things. Which is why I Torrent the Anime's I think that I might Like. As for the worst Anime I've seen to date: School Rumble!
Hm. Let's see. Naruto is certainly not my cup of tea... Probably not the worst anime out there, but IMHO by far the most overhyped. Also, Welcome to the NHK. Genshiken did everything it was trying to do, and did it better with more likable characters. Could just be because I'm a rabid Genshiken fan, though.

Now I'm almost tempted to dig through the packed box of Anime I have to watch that show to give you my opinion... almost its currently near the bottom of a large stack of boxes...
