Yeah so I went to the store and bought manga and it made me happy. =3


Yesterday I got NANA volumes 5 and 6 as well as the Shojo Beat for June. I looked for updates in Kashimashi and Crimson Hero but I had them all. T_T

And what I noticed was there was an entire section labled for Yaoi but not Yuri, it was saddening. (I'm not saying there's anything wrong with Yaoi, it's just that I was looking for Yuri. >_>;; )

Sadly because of the fan popuarlity with Yaoi ( The crazy screaming Yaoi fangirls), there's a lot more Yaoi then there is Yuri.  If only there were more screaming Yuri Girls then all would be well.  Even so, there are not many Yuri manga, recently I did just buy:

Iono-sama (the) Fanatics
Tetragrammaton Labyrinth
The Last Uniform
Strawberry Panic and I must say to all four of them... YURI much.

Are all 4 of those Yuri manga? I've only seen Strawberry Panic, but I think I should get the manga too.

Yes, all four of those are all yuri titles. They're all different genres though. The Last Uniform is more romance, Tetragrammaton Labyrinth is more like Hellsing or what Venus Versus Virus should of been, Iono the Fanatics is just insane and hilarious and you know what Strawberry Panic is, harem all the way. All of them are assume and full of Yuri though!

oh, aren't those mangas licensed by seven seas?
*sniff* In germany are sooo less shoujo-ai mangas....I think there are just two or so T____T

oops, didn't mean to drift from topic ^__^;;
eh, the last manga I bought was bakuretsu tenshi.

Yep those are licensed by Seven Seas. Only two? Jeez.

Recently I bought the new Monster Volume 8 and Museum of Terror. Also Claymore Volume 8.

You have Bakuretsu Tenshi manga there? I wish I had it.

yeah, there is only Utena and Maria-sama ga miteru. And Bakuretsu Tenshi if that count as a shoujo-ai
manga. Sad, but true T___T

yupp, the manga and the novel were licensed by Tokyopop ^__^
But the release date is surely slow....Just one takoubon every three month....=____=;
I have to wait forever till the novel is far as the anime is...

the latest manga i bought was . . . *thinking* . . . Samurai deeper kyo 3 & 4 and also Chrono crusade 1
At that time I didn't even know that it was something called yuri and shoujo-ai ._.' yay-ness... I need more manga T_T

I just bought Kedamono Damono Vol 1 since I already had Vol 2. I also got Kingdom Hearts II Vol.1 and Tenshi Ja Nai (I'm No Angel) Vol. 6. biggrin

I can walk to where UppCon is in about 30minutes :'3 and it is the biggest convention in sweden xD

um, recently I tryed to Bye Your and My secret.. Its a Shojo-ai I thinks as its realy ment fopr girls but I loves it ^^

um Im always getting Shonon jump in the mail as I cant live with out my Naruto

yup Naruto fan all the way ^^

I haven't found any Yuri mangas in the book stores I go to, and those have like, a whole department for just Manga and Anime!
But, I haven't been looking that hard, so I guess I haven't found them for that reason, too weirdface

I just got The Last Uniform and all 4 volumes of R.O.D. (Read or Dream). Both of which have shoujo ai, though in Read Or Dream, it's only subtext in the 1st and 4th volumes. But I still love it. The character Maggie is adorable! :D

I saw in a magazine that you can buy The last uniform here in sweden too :3 but it is in english 'couse sweden is to lazy to translate >_>

Yeah, once my dad bought a star trek video at a con in Tulsa, thwn when he was going to watch it those bands in the video fell apart ._.

i don't really know where to get manga in the first place for one thing >_>
but i bike around my city everyday looking cuz i can only use the computer after dark...
and there's an animethon in edmonton every year! :]

Recently, I bought the first two volumes Hikaru no Go. I really love that series. I read the whole thing already (twice), but it doesn't get old.
