It's been confirmed by Rowling herself. After finishing reading Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, she opened the floor to questions. A child asked if Dumbledore had ever loved anyone. Rowling answered honestly that he was gay and that he had an unrequited love affair with Gellert Grindewald.

While the fans present were overjoyed by the revelation, some people are freaking out about this. People are claiming that Rowling "ruined" the series for them. Others are pointing an accusing finger and saying that Rowling has become "part of the homosexual agenda"--as if we really have one.

I was actually kind of excited when I heard about this. It really all clicks when you think about it.

No, it's true. It's from Rowling's mouth herself. I was kinda like, "Woo!" when I heard about it. I'm not sure why...

It's like...if he was gay from the start, then, Yay, I guessed something was a bit different about him...but, if it was just Rowling's last attempt at getting recognition for her books, then my respect in her fails. =/

I own all of the books and all of the DVD's that have come out so far. I'll probably get the newest one for Christmas (again).

She's done with the series. She wrote seven books. One for each Hogwarts year.
