So... I decided to start a webcomic of my own (or two, but who's counting), but I really don't have much of anything except paper, pencils (lead and colored), and ink pens to help me. In other words, the only program I have on my computer is Paint. Not good, but I gotta work with it.
Anyway, what I want to ask is... can someone help me fit a banner on a SmackJeeves? I can draw it and everything but... sizing isn't one of the options I remember being on Paint. ^^;
Sorry if it's stupid, but I would really like the help.

sizing on paint? I don't even have any talent in art, but I can help you here....at least, with the answer of the question I think you're answering...
The way to get an exact size in paint is to make the used area larger than what you're aiming for, then use the coords to mark off exactly where your limits are. Once you have it drawn out, resize using the bottom right corner of the usable area, it should resize to where you need to. You can use [Save As...] and rightclick->Properties to see the file's current pixel size. hope this made sense, and it's what you need! ^ ^

NEW! I also have a blog, you're invited to check it out, or request a topic you'd like me to cover.
This would probably go in Original Art. I'll move it there for you.
On the topic, don't use Paint! Trust me. You're better of downloading GIMP. It's free and Photoshop-like. I prefer the real deal myself, but normal people don't buy such a program. Use GIMP to add in things like text.
For resizing, download IrfanView. It's a tiny, but powerful, tool.
