Tell us your favorite anime and why you love it so much!
My favorite at the moment is Mai-HiME. I just fell in love with the show and now I own like everything for it. Japanese PSP game, DVD boxset, little figures of the characters, etc. I <3 Natsuki!

Mai-HiME was pretty good. I'd advise against watching Mai-Otome, however. If you're thinking because it's the sequel that the atmosphere is the same, you're wrong... It's completely different.
Er, ya mean little Mikoto? I'd tell but that's spoiler. >.>
I'm personally running abit low on animes to watch at the moment, though I've really gotten into Kurau Phantom Memory, very interesting and fun anime, kinda sad at times, but definitely worth a watch... unfortunately only available for downloading since.. I think it's ADV has been stalling on release. :\
Oh yeah, Kurau/Christmas ftw! :)
Lets see, other anime I like, despite the cheese, Otome wa Boku ni Koi****eru was a good one I thought, involves some gender issues and lots of implied lesbians ofcourse, the popular thing in anime, eheh. u.u;;
There's ofcourse Maria-sama ga Miteru, for something somewhat more serious but very well done with a great story to follow in all directions.
Strawberry Panic.. erm, cheese, cheese, cheese, cheese and several toasters, but I still enjoyed it, heh..
Azumanga Daioh, insane, crazy, nutty, bizzare, funny, yeah, that about covers it.
Though I haven't really watched it in awhile, I'm still a Tenchi Muyo (OVA!!) fan.
I could probably go on about all the rest of them, but that's a good look over.

I did watch Mai-Otome after all because I missed Natsuki! I didn't like it nearly as much, but the way Shizuru flirts with Natsuki is soooo funny. Ecspecially the episode at the beach when Shizuru is putting sun tan lotion on Natsuki. xD Best scene of all the series.
I've seen Strawberry Panic too, it was so cute. My favorite character was Yaya-chan.

One of my favourite series at this time is currently running right now. That is Bokurano. The weirdest most messed up show to date involving 15 kids and a giant robot protecting the planet.
Some of my favourite series include: Mai-Hime, I love Haruka she is insane and hilarious at the same time. I love her attitude in both Mai-Hime and Mai-Otome. I didn't enjoy Mai-Otome very much and the ending has to be the worst ending possible. I also had a high dislike for Arika.
Another series I love is all three series of Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha (A), (StrikerS). It's like a hardcore Card Captor Sakura and the subtext with both Nanoha and Fate is adorable. Plus Nanoha is bad ass in the third series.
Love Azumanga Daioh, just for the hilarity throughout the series.
One other series is Kaleido Star, a happy go lucky type of series which also has two characters that are questionable for subtext.
why dose so many like Mai-Hime lol anyways um death note would have been but once you read the manga it sucks so um naruto i guess since its starting to get to the good parts with akatsuki

I love the way the magic of alchemy is counterbalanced with the science of equal trade. and I love the way the plot flows completely smoothly throughout the 51 episodes. (And of course Ed/Win...what's an anime without mindless shippers?)
Elfen Lied was M-Azing, one of mah favorites. I heart Higurashi, too, though I'm 16~17 in Kai. The original was....scary. the...fin*****il machine....was...ghhhhk. Great series(es?) both...but not the kind you should watch alone, at least not Higu...

NEW! I also have a blog, you're invited to check it out, or request a topic you'd like me to cover.
Ranma 1/2 just for the silliness in it..Neon Genesis Evangelion I love it..messed up as it is. Btw when are the Movies set to Release?

For a serious anime, my favorite is Ergo Proxy. In addition to the fantastic art direction, the writing is really good, if a bit convoluted (though not nearly to the extent of Evangelion and Lain).
For a more fun anime, I'll go with Bleach. It's really simple, it's loaded with a large number of sword-wielding characters, almost all of whom are truly interesting. The anime isn't without flaw. It's a bit guilty of the DBZ Effect (where after the protagonist trains to great heights to beat an impossible foe, another, even more impossible foe emerges, repeat into eternity...), and after 100+ episodes one'd think there would be a nice romance element involved.
For the amazingness of it all : The Melonchaly of Haruhi Suzumiya <3333 End of story.
Humour and Amazingness : Lucky*Star I swear Konata is like my Uber Clone. xD
For the fact I've cried so many times : CLANNAD Key + KyoAni are a powerful team. I cry at the end of each story arc, since I've grown very attached to the characters (Fuku & Kotomi so far)
For the fact it's calming : Sketchbook ~full color'S~ The main character is in Art Club at her school, and it's about her adventures. Really calming show. <3
And Because it's got tension and amazingness : ef - A Tale of Memories The opening is amazing, and I love the animation. The animation is different from the other anime I've watched.
