I like Naruto too, though I've been kinda scared away from it with the annoying english version. I've only seen the first 50 japanese episodes. I like Sakura, but people always think she's stupid. T_T

I stopped reading Naruto after Naruto and Sasuke transformed. It was so ridiculous that I lost all interest in the series. Plus, the series just seems to go from one flashy fight to the next... It's an okay series, but not worthy of the hype. Just okay.
I'm partial to Love Hina, Pretty Face, Day of Revolution, Princess Princess and Ranma 1/2.
Love Hina I'm sure everyone has heard of this. It's about a pathetic guy named Urashima Keitarou who goes to live at Hinata Sou because his parents kicked him out. He was kicked out because he failed to get into Toudai, Tokyo University, twice. However, he finds out that Hinata Sou is now a girls' dorm and his grandmother handed ownership of the land over to him.
Pretty Face Masashi Randou was a ****y, short guy who was a great martial artist. One day, his whole world was turned upside down after he was victim to a horrible bus accident. Horribly burned, nobody knew who he was. The only clue they had was a picture of a girl. One year later, Randou wakes up from a coma to find he has the face of his first love: Kurimi Rina. Through a certain twist of events, Rina bumps into Randou and mistakes him for her long-lost twin sister Yuna. Now, Randou must live as Rina's twin sister until he can find the real Yuna.
Day of Revolution Yoshimura Kei was your average rebellious teenage boy. Until one day when he was ditching class, he suddenly fainted. He was brought to the hospital where he finds out that he's really a girl. He decides to live from that point on as a girl. Six months later, he is redoing his grade as Yoshimura Megumi. Note: This is a prequel to Princess Princess.
Princess Princess Kouno Toru has just transferred to an all-boys school. He discovers that he is one of the "beautiful ones." These few, mostly taken from the freshmen class, become Princesses. Their duties are to "enrich" the lives of the students. In exchange, the Princesses are given full scholarships, free housing, free school uniforms, and meal coupons for the cafeteria. Toru quickly accepts and joins Yuujirou and Mikoto as one of the Princesses.
Ranma 1/2 Not sure where you have been if you don't know about this series. It's old and one of the first manga and anime ever translated and brought over to the United States. Saotome Ranma is a martial artist and he has amazing skills. The catch? When exposed to cold water, he turns into a girl. Hot water turns him back. There are various other curses in the series as well.
Oh man, I read Pretty Face for quite awhile, then I just hit a wall, I skipped ahead to the end to see what happened, but meh. Anyways, manga for me, I've been reading Battle Angel Alita some and Chirality, I'm about out on the Manga/Comic scene.

_-* When friendship turns to love, oh what are we to do?*-_
Loveless is Shonen-ai/BL, however you know it, and it's a really interesting story. It's really depressing at parts though. Black Cat is really awsome. The plot is really complex, but easy to follow at the same time. The main characters are sweepers, sort of like everyday mercenaries, but usually they hunt for wanted criminals. And Yu-Gi-Oh is my love, if only for the card game, which is really entertaining. I have yet to loose, which kind of makes me sad, mostly because I put that much effort into the game.
Sorry if this is a dead topic, but relevant is relevant, right?
Berserk, by Kentaro Miura - Maybe not as cute or friendly or such as any body else's favorites, but a large, sweeping epic fantasy tale of revenge, swords, sorcery, and redemption.
The main character, Guts, is a wandering mercenary who fights because he has nothing better in his life - but, a chance encounter with Griffith, the charismatic leader of the Band of the Hawk mercenary group leads to military prestige as the Hawks break a multi-century stalemate. Griffith himself has grand hopes and dreams - wanting to become king.
The story isn't very happy, and its pretty gory for a fantasy epic - kind of like a "Lord of the Rings" kicked up to an R rating.
Bleach, by Tite Kubo - You might've heard of this one.
Hellsing, by Kohta Hirano - Violence and black humor, featuring Alucard - everybody's favorite vampire - fighting an army of nazi zombie vampires. The final volume doesn't release until October, and I'm super excited to read it!
Ai Yori Aoshi, by Kou Fumizaki - A "star crossed lovers" story... despite being a guy, I'm a sucker for a good love story. :P
Well, here's something a noob can participate in. *laughs at self* Well, I actually have three favorites:
Love Hina: It's kinda funny, plus I love writing fanfiction about it... though I've yet to publish any... Kashimashi: It's one of the few translated yuri/shoujo-ai mangas. Plus, it's kinda cute ^_^ Ai Yori Aoshi: I'm an RSA (Romance Story Addict), and this one was like a shot of pure, fine heroin
Some other ones I like include Strawberry Panic, Mahou Sensei Negima, Bleach, Naruto, Grenadier, and Fullmetal Alchemist, but they aren't my favorites.
Mmmhhh Loveless... The first manga I've ever owned. Come to think about it, I haven't finished it yet... but its still awesome! Ritsuka is so cute!! Sadly I have to hide it for obvious reasons if you've ever read it.
