Favorite Game

My favorite game is Earthbound for SNES. That game was so amazingly random and awesome.

Hmm... This is a hard question. I like a few games. Final Fantasy VIII, Final Fantasy IX, Grandia II, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, Dark Cloud 2, Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, and Star Wars: Nights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords. I...probably didn't name them all, either.

It's not like the games relate to one another. They're usually independant games.

I just find it tedious to level up, spending hours at it and all. At least in the beginning. I quite enjoy FF VIII.

yeah, leveling up....It seems to me that I spend more time with training than with the game itself....

ugh, sorry. I've got off the subject again =___=;;

my favorite game is...I dunno. I have too many...But mostly RPGs....

Another game I quite enjoy is Resident Evil. I used to play it all the time back in the day on the old PS. Ah good times. Killing zombies at the age of 10 and listening to terrible voice actors. I turned out okay..

Same goes for me about games only. Silent HIll series was the worst!

I don't like horror in general: movies or games, doesn't matter. Shaun of the Dead was funny, though.

Well that game series was a bust for all. How about Soul Calibur? Does anyone like Soul Calibur?

I've never played Soul Calibur yet. I've been wanting to play Soul Calibur II for the GameCube for a while now because Link is in it.

That one's pretty cool, but I enjoy Soul Calibur III the best. Although Talim is my favourite character, in Soul Calibur II she was awesome, in the III they took a lot of her strength away. How depressing.

Oh it's still got to be the Baldur's Gate series for me, I loved those games so much, the stories are just wonderful. I still play them over now and then, there are SO many mods out for it.

R.I.P. Black Isle.. *tear* x.x

Shaun of the Dead was a horror comedy, kind of like Army of Darkness so technically it wouldn't fall into the same category.

Yay! Another Zelda fan!

Ocarina of Time was the first game to inspire me to write fanfiction. It's definitely one of the best games ever.

Erf it's hard to choose. I loved the Silent Hill serie. I could play them over a thousand times without getting bored. In action games, the Tomb Raider serie, with a special mention for the Legend, and the Prince of Persia. I hate strategy games because i'm very bad at that. If i have more than one character to move, then it's over XD

^^; gonna feel old now, but Breakaway, Demon Hunter and the Original Zelda are the best Old school Games, The Zelda and FF lines are the Best RPGs for storyline and Music that just sucks you into the world. Love Rpgs in general

One of the first games I played, and Liked the most, were Rampage:World Tour for N64, and Rampage:Universal Tour for the PS

I just loved smashing buildings and eating people for no apparent reason when I was like, 6

Dark Savior for the Saturn. It's a surprisngly deep adventure/plattformer/RPG/fighting game with lots of psychological themes spread over multiple storylines affected by your own decisions and actions. If not one of the most innovative then at least one of the best games ever.

Also since I'm a fighting gamer at heart (it's like a drug) I can't stress enough how great Virtua Fighter Evolution for the PS2 was. It's not as cool to look at as Guilty Gear, it's not as easy for the freshmen as Tekken and certainly not as recognized as Street Fighter, but damn it you'll be looking long and hard before you can find another game even half as solid as this one. 'Nuff said.

As for Zelda I only seem to like the games that are considered the lesser games. I prefer Link's Adventure over the original, Majora's Mask over Ocarina of Time and Link's Awakening (part 4) over A Link to the Past (part 3) and so on. That is until Twilight Princess came out, that game was a joy. Surely I am not the only one who thought that Link looked like a rather handsome woman at the beginning of that game am I? Or maybe it's just wishful thinking, ahem.

I love so many games, it's hard to say what my favorite is. But... if I have to choose just one...

Tales of Symphonia.

It's the only video game that has ever made me cry.

GameCube. It's one of the "Tales" games. They're RPGs with action-oriented battles. Kind of like the FF ones, they're all stand-alone games. They're all awesome, but ToS... it's just... special. Like I said, no other game has ever made me cry.

My uber favorite right now is Steambot Chronicles. For some reason, I just love it. XD

Other than that, it's hard for me to choose a single Final Fantasy game that I love more than the others. VII or X? Or VIII or XII? I like them all... T-T

I like the .Hack// games, but G.U. seemed to kill it for me. As far as older games go, Mario Kart. (I wanna say 64, but it was the system before it...right now I'm pretty much braindead so I cant think of the name.) Speaking of the 64, Pokemon snap had its moments too.

My favorite would have to be Final Fantasy 7. While it has been arguably surpassed, for the time it came out, it combined impressive gameplay elements with a story, something that ye olde games didn't do. In short, it was the perfect game at the perfect time.

You, Taiki, just won at life.

As for my own favorite, I really don't have a single one.  I've got too many good games to just pick ONE.
