Well, I don't really care and most of my friends don't care either, but I do know that there's people out there who look different on people becouse of their sexuality. Most of my teachers (if not all of them...) tells all students in my school that people who love other persons of the same sex are sinners and it is they who are the couse of all nature dissasters ._.

Woh calm down there Buddy, it could be worse when i was cathlic my priest say I was a deva*le worsherper because I listen to heavy music and refused to belive in the fact that when I die thats it I either go to purgitory, hell, or heavon or purgertory to hell, or purgetory to heavon (depending on how many of my sins been forgiven...)

but Ive had better I had a priest that litterly kicked church gowers out of the church cause they constently were calling me a fag and adevel worshiper.. You cant base the world of just a few *******s who knows maybe they say it but are closet cases them selves and thats why they say it

Basicly she said that soon sweden will have those natural disaters becouse the curch of sweden has allowed samesex Marrige, and 'couse of that sweden are no longer protected by God, but actually I have only heard the teacher I have in swedish tell us that. Even though that, all of the teachers I know are thinking that we are sinners, BUT we can be "cured"!
I love my teachers sometimes, but that was not one of those times...

I get a little heated when talking about this because of my priest. He is firmly against homosexuality. He has gone so far as to inform us that if you disagree with one of the policies of the catholic church, you aren't a catholic. For me, I disagree with the homosexuality and transgender policies. I think if he found out I was both, he'd probably kick me out of church or try to make me go to his detox center to be "cured."

My school is almost completely anti-gay but my English teacher is great. The other day we had a class discussion about gay male sex (I'm in grade 10!). She was pretty much giving us a 'How To Guide.' It was hillarious.

And I don't really like religion either because my family made me go to church and I thought it was extremely controdicting when the speaker would go up there saying that God loves everyone and blah blah and then a few minutes later explain how homosexuality is wrong and you'll go to hell for it. I believe people are born gay, so, in that reasoning, God made them that way, so why should He or anyone else hate them? >_>

I don't have anything against any religion or something like that, it is just that most of the people I meet that call themselves Christians says that Homosexuality is wrong and then they ask if you want them to pray for you. I also heard the leader of the church say once "... And I've seen many cases of homosexuality being cured!" as if it was a sickness or something in your brain... When I think about it, I maybe hate them a bit ._.

Precisely, we are who we are and it is the same love as between a man and woman. You don't have to ask a person if they accept Heterosexuals, so why must people ask themselves if they accept Homosexuals, out of what I can see it is the same love.

You get discrimination anywhere though. For example with religion, in Ireland very very bad to marry or even associate yourself with a Catholic if you're Protestant. If you are to marry one from the other religion, most formal families will more or less disown you from the family. Now if it were to be not only the opposite religion, but you're also a homosexual, they would probably hunt you down.

Then you get the people who don't like the way your partner dresses or whatever. Heterosexuals get it bad in some cases as well, forbidden you to love someone you love. People are stupid, bomb them all! Oh wait, that's like most of the world... meh, a few billion people gone wouldn't hurt the world.

Homosexuals aren't cured. Bisexuals just decide it's easier to go with the opposite sex. The church doesn't acknowledge bisexuality, so if you like the same gender you're gay. So all of those cases where they "cured" a homosexual, they're most of the time bisexual. The rare time they actually are homosexual, the "cure" doesn't take very long... It's pathetic.

i have a question on the whole religion thing. what the **** first off. i know pastors who lie everyday i know christian men who commit adultery by looking upon a young girl lustfully but they arent frowned upon in soceity. there is no sin meter that makes certain sins worse. people sin its human nature so every preist or pastor that says homosexuality is a sin and people who have relations with the same gender are going to hell....well then doesnt that mean all sinners are going to hell? what about the man who is married to a woman goes to church every sunday but watches porn and jacks off when hes alone...thats adultery thats a sin; what about the woman whos married to a man and is a religious person but lies to her husbuand about going to her freinds house because her husband doesnt like her friend...she lied that makes her a liar thats a sin.....why doesnt society frown upon these people and tell THEM they are going to hell they sinned and as i said a sin is a sinn THERE IS NO METER THAT SCALES THE "WEIGHT" OF YOUR SIN it doesnt exist and as far as im concerned those who call homosexuals sinners are heathens because instead of "helping" the LGBT community they are pushing us farther and farther away from the mere thought of religion so i shall close my comment with what ive based my life on

Well, there are sins that are worse than others, but the sins you were talking about aren't at that level. There's two versions of sin: mortal and venial. The kind you were talking about is venial. A mortal sin is something that endangers your soul with one blow. An example of mortals sins are rape and murder.

Unfortunately, the church sees homosexuality as a mortal sin.

Well, then those churches are the ones I call corrupted because, true and I mean TRUE believers of God know that same sex love is not sin, he loves all his children. my family is christian/ catholic and my dads side of the family knows this and are very accepting. Me, I like browsing and learning about all different religion ( like Wicca and Budhism), well only the positive side, not the sexist or homophobic side. But yeah. I understand and it sucks so much.

The majority of my school where homophobes... And even beat up on of my friends on a normal basis since he was gay. They trashed his truck, and flipped it over one day in the parking lot...It was really sad... Since the principal was a homophobe also, she didn't do anything even though they caught who did it on video tape...

As for religion reasons go, the teachers were all pretty much *******s...pardon my language... I was in the 8th grade and I was told I was going to hell for being an Atheist, by my first block teacher...She didn't like it when my bottle of water was "accidently" knocked over and poured onto her computer.

Look, i'm not a religion person but i believe in a higher form of being. Might be god, might be the devil. But some of these religions persons are really, and i mean really, scary.

When i was in highschool, and i told everyone i was gay, They were like 'can you do that, fall in love with the same gender?" I mean WTF. And there was this one girl who was into god, a real worshipper, she stood up, walked infront of me and said. "You will burn in hell, you will only find the devil on your way to hell furious

." And she walked out of the classroom. God was i scared.

I mean, falling in love is like the best gift you can ever get. Doesnt matter if it is the same gender. So i say, fall in love, go for it and find true happines. And F*** all those who are against you.

That's religion for you. I'm not catholic, I'm baptist, but my family doesn't go to church, but we do believe in God. Unfortunately, I go to a catholic school, and when my religion teachers touch on the matter of homosexuality, it pisses me off, but I just kind of learn to ignore it and keep my mouth shut in class. It's like they contradict their own sayings on all levels. Whether it's homosexuality or not.

Another thing that pisses me off is how they're trying to protest against same sex marriage. My question is, who the **** are they to get in others peoples' business?! Why do they care about who others fall in love with? Last time I checked, love knew no boundaries, and I'm sure homosexuality is the least of God's concerns.

I personally am chill with homosexuals. Half of my friends are either gay or lesbian, and I myself am curious of the same sex. So like Gusso said, if you love someone a lot, no matter what gender they are or anything, then go for it. **** society and religion (some religions, not all) and their views of a "normal" person/world! Who's with me?!

The worst is when the country says same sex marriage is fine, but over fifty percent of the population is homophobic.
My friends are openly gay, and while we were in downtown Ottawa, which is supposed to be very open, we were hit with random objects. I think the worst was when they bought a house in Toronto, and within four hours of moving in, their house was TP'd and egged, and the word "FAGGOT" was spraypainted onto their garage door. We spend hours scrubbing that off, and eventually we just had to paint over it.
