alright, i saw this in another forum once, so i just thought i'd post this up. What is the closest you've ever came to dying, or getting brutally murdered? Whether it be funny or tragic, i'm sure we'd(by that i mean "me") like to hear it.
I MYSELF, have a story too... i have a friend who goes to another school, and when i go to his house with my twin sister(yeah, i have a twin :3), we often climb onto the roof of his school, which has no roof access i should say, so then we just kick balls that have been roofed, talk, etc etc. I also tend to run around alot, jump, and do crazy things( I'm quite the comedian ;D). But it just so happens, one day while i was doing my crazy things, my sister told me to be careful not to fall off the 5 floored building... guess what happened. I FELL. But not quite, a stray nail caught a tear in the ankles of my pants(talk about lucky eh?) in which i was dangling feet up, 5 floors above ground, then they pulled me up and we didn't go on it for a whole year. we do it now, but we just tend to...er...stay still

When I was three my family was staying at this resort, someone had left the gate open to the pool and I wandered in.
A guy who was staying at the resort just happened to look out his window and see me floating face down in the pool. He pulled me out and saved my life with CPR.
My parents are REALLY sensitive about any sort of related issue. They only let me quit swimming training a few years ago.
Once in a museum when I was younger I started to climb up a cuboard (spelling?) that didn't stuck to the wall but fell, luckily for me it was just my foot and my hand that was under it. I had to run around with a bandage at my foot the whole summer and I couldn't bend my middle finger for about 2 weeks ._. and that is as close to a Horrible Painful Death I've been :3
The only times I've ever been close to death have to do with cars.
The first time was when I was riding my bike home from school on the sidewalk and this guy pulls out of the Hospital parking lot, not looking either way, and hit me and I fell into the street into oncoming traffic. Lucky for me the oncomming traffic stopped just in time so I could get out of the street. The guy in the SUV that hit me offered me like $5 and took off. I didn't take the money because I was so pissed. I now have burn scars across my left leg because since it was in Arizona, it's extremely hot there and the car had been in the parking lot for a while, so the front grill and stuff burned me pretty badly. D:
The second time was when me and my friend were going to pick up someone and go to the mall and in the middle of the intersection we were t-boned and thrown into a pole. The car hit on my side right near the tire and we collided straight into the traffic pole. It was scary as hell because when we were driving I looked over to the right and saw the car coming straight at me right off of the freeway so she was going pretty fast. The paramedics were so suprised I didn't break anything! If my seat had been like an inch more forward I woulda broke both my legs, but since it wasn't I just had huuuge bruises on them.
I know, not very dramatic, but that's the closest I've come to death that I can think of.
I did lose 1/3 of my pinky though when I was a baby. My neighbor was riding our exercise bike and appearently no one was watching me as I crawled up to it and stuck my finger in the gears and my finger was knawled off. So now I'm missing the top 1/3rd of it. People don't really notice until I paint my fingernails and people ask me why I don't paint my pinky and it's cuz there's no nail!
