Haruka was crouched inside a locker. Oh she wasn't the victim of the cruel hands of bullies, no she was trying to get the latest gossip. She pressed her ear to the cold metal door and heard the high pitched squeals of other girls talking excitedly. She could tell by the voices that these were the high-class girls in the student council, in other words they controlled everything in this school- right down to the food we ate. Haruka could tell by the tones that something big was going on.. 

"I simply can't wait to announce the talent show!"
"I know it's going to be awesome! Maybe Kai will be in it!
-fan girl screams- *my ears are bleeding*

The nonsense continued on and on till Haruka could barely stand it anymore, plus she had to pee badly by now. The girls had finally left and she could finally get out she pushed and the door. Nothing. She pushed on it harder still, but to no avail. She finally gave up and tried to get comfortable as possible in such a cramped space. What seemed like hours passed and Haruka was about to die in the old locker. Then suddenly someone was putting the com. in and Haruka barely noticed since she was half asleep, the door clicked and she leaped out and into someone.

Taiki was bowled over onto the ground and squashed by a giant weight. "Ow! Ge-off! MEH!" She tried to roll out from under the thing and saw the pinkish hair, she immediately recognized it to be Haruka. The girls untangled themselves from each other and stood up brushing themselves off. "What were you doing in there Haruka?" 
"That doesn't matter right now, what's important is that there's going to be a talent show Taiki!! 

Taiki sweat dropped and tried a strained smile. "We have to tell Kai and the others, this is going to be the best! Haruka dragged Taiki by the arm all the way to the cafeteria at amazing speed. At the table where everyone was eating, the two stood there and Haruka immediately started up on the news of an upcoming Talent show. Kai, Marco, Micheal, and Samael liked the idea of performing in front of an actual crowd and even Haruka and Alex were thinking of joining in on all the fun.

Alex turned to Taiki and with a cheery smile asked if she was going to do something for the show. Taiki thought about it for a moment and shrugged. She could think of anything, Nikki said in a sly voice " Why don't you show off your amazing DDR skills?" Taiki imagined what that would be like to play in front of a hundred or more people. Everyone laughed and went on with their own conversations; Alex looked back Taiki again with the most beautiful blue eyes that seemed to shone like stars, Taiki gulped. "Im sure you have a talent, I mean everyone has some talent at something or another.."

" Yeah, I mean look at Marco he looks and probably is worthless.." Kai said teasingly, a uproar came from Marco. " But he's actually a pretty good player.Why don't you try singing with Alex? " Marco hmphed and then when on with his conversation, Alex looked back at Taiki and nudged her arm. "Yeah why not, let hear your voice." Taiki refused over and over again but eventually everyone was at it and she gave in. She started singing Simple and Clean and first off started soft and slow, but then her voice began to grow louder and a bit stronger. She was halfway through the song when she suddenly stopped, embarrassed. Se looked to all her friends and they all started clapping. Alex was excited and immediately started begging Taiki to be in the show with her. Taiki couldn't resist after getting lost in those blue eyes that shined like stars.

Kai said that if they wanted, they could be in the the band for a certain song that needed some female singers.Both Alex and Taiki agreed and later that after school, they were given sheets of music with the lyrics written on them. They stood in the music room and quietly started memerizing the words. After a while Alex sighed and set the music down and started walking around, playing with the instroments. Taiki set her music down too and went over to the bongos and chimes her started playing a random bet and the two were having a blast. Until a crash outside the door made them jump and Taiki hit the chimes, making them fall and scatter on the ground. 

She dove down and started collecting them back up, but when she went to grab the tamberine she accidently grabbed and hand instead. She looked up and saw Alex on her hands and knees looking back at her. Taiki blushed and quickly backed away, but Alex who was lost in Taiki's dark brown eyes crawled forward and with one hand grasped Taiki's hand to prevent her from leaving, and with the other gently held her chin. Slowly, ever so slowly, she leaned in and met her sweet lips to Taiki's petal soft ones. They sat there in bliss and confusion, not caring for the moment.
 
Suddenly Alex pene her eyes ad broke the kiss, she stood up and with a face turning a fiery red she mumbled something about just remembering that she had to do something else, and ran out the door. She ran and ran, all the way back home and into her room where she leaned back against her door and sighed. She closed her eyes and thought back to that moment, touching her lips with the tips of her fingers she could barely hear her thoughts since her heart was beating so loudly.. Taiki sat in that music room for an half hour, just thinking of what had just happened and trying to make sense of it all especially that fact that it had fel somehow right...
