I looked on several sites and haven't found it. Friends at school said look into Macross but couldn't find the movie. So i'm guessing macross wasn't it
Now your my last hope to make one of my childhood memories come back into the clear.
Memory;
It was a movie, I don't know if their was or not a TV series. The beginning of the memory I remember a space battle.
There were 2 races. Humans where it seems to be of only girls. The other being cyborge things.
A ship of several girls left the battle and heading to a planet. Thier ship has a AI program that knows of a plot involving the crew.
Thier ship gets intercepted by enemies; 1 girl goes into a battle suit that she talks too and fights off the enemy but is left behind. I think the captain loved her because she gets sad that the girl is gone.
Thier ship was hit by some sort of missile/container releasing a blob thing that roams the ship. 1 of the girls get attacked by the blob thing, then I can't remember what happened to the it.
The girls start to get thoughts of a guy even tho it seems males don't exsist in this movie.
They planet they are going to is a moon of a planet they consider 'savage'. They get to the planet and set up some sort of barrier around thier new base.
The girl attacked by the blob had something growing in her and the other girls try to save her by extracting it out of her. Then the girl attacked by the blob dies. The thing they extracted turns into a baby and then somehow grew into a full adult male. 0_o
A bigger ship of the girls comes i'm guessing its thier armies warship. But the enemy also has a warship thier at the same time. The enemies spies find out of the male and report. Later on somehow the girls find out the plot of The leaders of both side of the war were just using the girls on the ship to make a hybrid race to make peace.
The leaders of the warships get into a disbute and start fighting. The girls on the planet get upset and some of them go around the planet to activate old ruins to make the planet go into a nuclear melt down. 1 girl and the guy use some sort of escape pod and blast off the moon/planet to the savage planet.
When the escape pod leaves the moon/planet the 2 people watch it have explosions all over it like thousands of nuclear bombs going off. Everything on the planet is vaporized and the 2 warships are also destroyed because they were down close enough. The moon now looks like our moon i guess.
Then the movie does some sort of transition showing the future of the planet the 2 people escaped to being populated by men and women.
I don't know if this helps or not but I saw it when I was about 11/12. I'm currently 17.
