Okay so like I got the first two volumes of Barefoot Gen and wow. It is so amazingly good.

It's about a Kid and his mother surviving the atomic bomb  that was dropped on Hiroshima. The artist/writer did this in the 70's so the art is very disney-esque but it portays the horrors of what happened in vivid detail. The creator also lived threw the bombing so he took things from his life and others as well and incorperated them in the manga. It's all very well done and I highly suggest you pick it up if you haven't.

On a side note I cried in class when I read the first book cause it was so sad. -hid face in book- xD;;
