The main reason is that after spending my first 19 years of life as a social recluse I decided it was about time to do something.

Secondly I want to help people. few things can top the feeling you get by making someone elses life a little better. I'd like to explain a little more about that.

I suffer from depresson, I've had it my whole life and from what they tell me I'll have to deal with it forever. I have a friend her name's Akito, we met on the internet. We used to talk for hours over IM about well, anything. She decied to stop getting on to focus on her studies so we kept talking by email. One day I opened up my mailbox and saw it'd had been over a month since we'd talked. So I sent her a very depressing email trying to guilt trip her into talking again. She replied within an few minutes with an email that chewed me up pretty bad over what I had said. I felt horrible as I read it. but somehow I realised these things she was saying, were all true. I had been acting like a total baby and I made myself sick. I had totally become everything I didn't want to be and I had hurt Akito in the process. I sent her the biggest apology I could and begged her to forgive me swearing to her and myself I would never be so selfish and unthoughtful again. She forgave me and we talked it out. To this day I keep that email in my inbox. as a reminder, so whenever I feel depressed I look at it and remember what it means to me.

... and that's how I came to want to start helping others the way Akito helped me.

Anyway to answer your question I joined because after looking it over it looks like a place I can do alot of good. and have fun at the same time ^^

I love the resident evil movies! yeah scary movies are great.

I have to say that LoD still is my favorite game of all time
I still go back into it every once in a while when I'm feeling nostalgic
I just started using the avatar about a week ago only because I needed a new one
