Kinda hard to word the question, but recently, I've been playing Mabinogi (North American Ver.), Closed Beta, and have run into percisely two idiots who I don't get why they even are playing. They seem unsocial and like to make a fight with anyone who doesn't do what they want.
The first one is the one I really want to talk about, however, I don't have a screencap of the chat log (I really should have).
Anyways, so here's the story. I'm hanging out with some friends who are playing their Lutes (It's this guitar-type instrament in-game) and playing some lovely composed Anime Songs (In the game, you can write songs for the intraments and play them). This person named "Phatom" walks over and starts to play his Lute. And trust me, when more then one intrament is playing, and not playing the same song, it hurts the ears. So, anyways, Phantom then asks where the player got the song. He says he googled it, and Phantom goes AFK for... oh... about 2 minutes or so, and then comes back.
He says "What do i google?" (With a lot less grammar and more chat speak), and I reply "Go get your brain and use it." Apparently, that wasn't a suifficient answer, and he proceeds to this... (I remember this part the best, so here's just about what was said, better spelling and sentence structure then the original of course)...
Phantom : (Something like...) Why are you playing this game instead of going out with a guy? Me : Maybe guys suck. Phantom : LEZ. Lesbian! Me : Thank you. =D Phantom : Woa. really? Me : Maybe, Maybe not. Phantom : ... So you like holes then?
... And I'm not kidding. That's the main idea of what was said. After that, I'm pretty sure Phantom prolly still thinks I'm a lesbian (Though I'm not sure right now, could go either way right now). Later some person asked for help and Phantom said "Don't ask Kisemi," (Kisemi is my In-Game-Name, he spelt it wrong, as a note) "She'll get mad at u." To which I replied "No. Just you. =D"
He also proceeded to ask the players around me, who had just watched this spectacle, where to compose/get compositions for music. xD;;; Yeah. He got really annoying and we had to change channels since he would just follow us.
I've been called a Lesbian before (Practically all of my friends are girls), and it doesn't really bother me if I get called such anymore, since honestly, if that's the way I go, then as long as I'm happy, I don't care what everyone else thinks. What bugged me was the fact it had to be brought up in a virtual game. And by the way he spoke, it seemed that Phantom thought games were for guys and girls should be just dating them. *gragh* Sorry to burst your bubble Phantom, but if you really are a boy in Real Life, I'd never even be desprate enough to date you. x3 And if Phantom's really a girl, wouldn't be desprate enough on that account either. xDDD;;;
As a side note, the other idiot I ran into I screencaped the log afterwards. It's a bit less idiot and more possesive, but still amusing. Click Here.
"Someday I'm going to learn how to kill people with my brain" Like all those stupid idiots online I'm not a girl but I play girl characters and I get the same lame treatment
I've never been called a lesbian even when I start talking about girls because everyone automatcly assumes I'm a boy when I do. and I never deny that I am a boy but I'd love to see what would happen if I did. Half of them would believe me because they are idiots and the other half would think I'm psyco because they're ignorant (this is the most likely outcome anyway).

Eh. Lots of people are ridiculously rude or harassing online. Probably because the internet is like alcohol; it tends to loosen inhibitions. Actually, thinking about it, this seems doubly so for guys...I know I don't get much harassment from girls, but maybe the population's just unbalanced so it doesn't show.
In my own experience, I know I'd get people in-game following me around, and, though I've never caught flak for saying I only like girls, it's amazing how persistant people will be when they believe they can make you bi/straight. That's annoying. This? This is just dumb harassment. ...*mumblehe'sgotaholeinhishead*
PS: "this is my hood" = lol x4

NEW! I also have a blog, you're invited to check it out, or request a topic you'd like me to cover.
Ah yes. Flamers. The pyrotechnic of the the chat window. Don't ya hate when they constatly follow you around?
Yeah well I've been in your position before. I played Trickster Online for a while (Still do now and then) and these guys wouldn't stop asking asking where to find these things. Not that its a bad thing but they were asking EVERYONE. Even after they got the answer.
So anyway (Before I go 2 miles of topic) Yeah. Don't worry about it to much happens alot to everyone. Tho to say it isn't fun to sarcasm them to death would be a lie ¬.¬

I crossplay on occassion, usually if I make a trial character and want to try out the game (that way I have no attachment to the character if it dies a bunch of times, etc)
I usually get flak from people if they find out in game and I usually get harassment if they don't.
the oddest time was when some other (presumably female) character started mad flirting with me. fairly inappropriate and descriptive...to which i felt obligated to point out I was male in RL. mistake number one, never tell them anythign about rl....
so she followed me around all over the place talking about how I should get a sex change. I quickly began ignoring her and then walked across teh map to the high level dungeon where she got eaten by zombies ^^. or whatever the high level zombies were called, ghouls maybe? their name wasn't important, i just liked the irony of it all.
