In my class, we are supposed to do something that would be out of the norm, which might be many, many things considering how there are lots of things people don't really condone (yet don't have laws to take away the right of doing). What he wants us to do is appear in public dressed differently (ie- cross-dressing or in 'hobo' clothes), doing something, etc. thats not seen in every day life (without breaking the law, of course), then write a paragraph at most about what we experienced.
While it's not very original, I want to do a video report (instead of a written one) on homosexuality, and to show how people view that as though it might be normal conduct in an every day sort of thing. I want to have it based in a resturant of something, and to portray that sort of behavior in ways that I really can't write down.
I just want to hear what others think about my little idea. ^^; I know it's a little weird and everything, but I want to hear what others have to say before going through with it.

it sounds like an interesting take on it. I hope you post your video I am always up to learn more about Human nature. I would like to know more of your Ideas on how you are going to do this, what you are going to do, etc. My Room-mate has a Masters in this field. Unfortuantly, I don't care to talk to her about it cause she has a habit of looking down on you unless you are going to college or have a College Degree. It is not all that weird it is easier to get points across visually the writen sometimes. You might want to have you or someone Narrator your video. To explain the Approach and what you are accomplishing. Hope this helps ^^; I am not always the greatest at explaining what I mean

Thanks for your advice. I was thinking the same thing when I was at work today about the narrarator thing. Great minds think alike, eh? ^^ Either that, or using quotes that have been said (or music even) to ennuncate whats going on.
Thats my ideas. They suck for the time being, but I have until Thursday to get it done. ^^
Other than that...
I still need to get everything in order, to tell the truth. Basically, all I have right now is me and the cameraman (who is WAAAY too excited for this project -.- ). And I'm not trying to accomplish much to tell the truth- just stir something up in the middle of social normality. And I technically know that this is already going to work- my mom is furious that we have to do this project at all. XD
And... wow. You're roommate sounds like a mix between bitchy and awesome at the same time. ^^ I love sociology almost as much as I like reading up on LBGT issues, literature, etc.- so that has to mean something, you know? Technically, she'd probably like me somewhat because I'm taking this as a class subject.
