Gay Pride 2009

The last saturday there was th parade of the Lesbian Gay Bisexual and Transgender Pride in my town (in France).
I'm heterosexual (at last nobody convince me to be gay, but you can try wink), but I want to support the LGBT people. So I went there and took a lot of photo. And I want to share them with the maximum of people. Tomorrow I'll give them to the LGBT center of my town.

Here are samples, only for yousmile. It's the ones I prefer.

I would like to know too. XD

Someone told me that this only flag was used for many parade in France. I guess there is not a lot of flag like that.

I hope I will be able to go to the Gay pride in Paris on the 27/06. I heard it is one of the biggest of the world. But I doubt it.

I would consider seeing what they have in the city, but you could not pay me enough to step into NYC, especially in the light of day.

Is it difficult for you to make a trip to Paris?

According to the newspaper, there was beetweenn 200.000 and 700.000 people in the streets of Paris for the Paris Gay Pride.

I was there. And there were really crowds of people. That was maybe the problem bedcause there was too many thing we wanted to see. And more I had a train to catch.

I am a bit disappointed about the photo I took but here a some samples.

Translation : Gay and Lesbian Cops
The slogan "Flag !" comes from the expression "flagrant délit" which means that a criminal offense was made with a policeman as witness.

Translation : Subject of History exam : the equality of rights of Lesbian Gay Bisexual and transexuals : results and prospects.

The word BAC comes from the big french exam called "Baccalauréat". we passed it few days ago.

Translation : Lesbian, proud and standing together against lesbophobia. Lesbian coordination in France.

No giant rainbow flag? That's a shame. I guess the hoMobus makes up for it.

What were you standing on in that last picture? Seems like you were above the crowd.

Yeah no giant rainbow flag in Paris. But there were about thirty decorated trucks in the parade. It was really big.

Well on the last photo I was on the car of a friend. He did not really appreciate it but I took some good photos. biggrin
