Hey now, Avatar was a great movie...in a visual-CG-admiring sense. The plot was filled with enough holes to store PLANETS in the hyperspace arsenals space freed up.


Also, the Eragon movie was terrible, but I'd read the book ahead of time so all I could really do was scoff at dramatic-drowning!

Avatar's CGI was beautiful. Damn, I wish I could have seen it in 3D.

The plot itself, though, was just terrible.

You know what I wanna see?

A Pixar movie made with Avatar's graphics. Seriously, that would be epic.

I saw it semi-iMAX. It was amazing. Those little betentacled white floaty spore things in the first like third?

You try to brush them out of your face instinctively.

God, that would be epic and GLORIOUS.

My eyes focus too well. I focus right through the glasses, and it's pretty much the same as if I wasn't wearing the glasses at all. Good eyesight sucks sometimes.

Also, I'm imagining the sequel to A Bug's Life set with Avatar's graphics. Everything would look so awesome. Or maybe a whole new movie series, one set in outer space with awesome aliens and stuff.

I must be tired. First read that as "Gratuitous Space Battle Space Angels! Aw yeah!"

Though I distinctly wouldn't mind that. You'd either get something lovely or Extraorbital Evangelion and both of those are fine results.

What about plotting complex crafts? Or crafting plotted complexes? Are you a carpenter?

I read that as crafting potted complexes. I had a good laugh.

How would you even fit a complex in a pot?

You'd need a very big pot.

ooh i just realized i forgot to post here ... i have seen quite a few movies in the past few weeks (i got myself a go to the movies for free ticket) .... so what i have seen:

the green hornet
the tourist
unstoppable
tucker and dale vs evil
.... and some more i dont remember but these three are pretty good although the tourist is slightly boring and unstoppable..... hmm dunno it was ok i guess but not really special, Tucker and dale is really good/funny and the green hornet is sorta taste dependent

Meh, I think I have a discount at movie theaters on weekdays, I haven't really checked up on that culture card-thingy I have, so...
Anyway, the Scott Pilgrim vs the world movie was kinda fun :3

hehe ok i will then ... lets see O.O last one i posted about was london boulevard =/ thats quite some time ago... since then i have seen True grit and 127 hours ... and maybe something else but i cant remember right now ... hmm i guess both 127 hours and true grit are worth watching .... both have some pretty good acting but are a bit slow movies...... all those bad action movies are making me impatient i think =O

The movie 'Taken' is quite fun =D It is one of those fun action movies we all hate/love :D

hmm that name sounds familiar ... but i dont think i have seen it =O

the movie i had forgotten about was the rite ..... that movie is christian propaganda =O sort of fun though and yesterday i saw I am number four not a bad movie just nothing happens in it so its quite boring .... and that makes the whole alien with superpowers thing a bit fail =/

i have seen sucker punch yesterday and i must say its a very creative movie .... slightly confusing but it has fantasy, steampunk, cyberpunk, and comic book elements ...
i recommend it... its a pretty terrible(not bad but unpleasant) story if you think about it though =O

wheee two more movies .. one i saw quite some time ago but i kept forgetting the title: just go with it ... a lot better than expected, it was really funny. i wouldnt have gone to see it on my own but it was a: get to see a movie thats not released yet but you dont get to know which it will be kind of thing.

and the other was hall-pass a friend of mine wanted to see this but this was also much better than i had anticipated... quite tastefull humor =O
